Caravan holidays have seen a dramatic increase in popularity over the last few years, and it is set to continue, with numbers of in-use caravans expected to jump from 755,000 to an incredible 900,000 by 2030! This is a favourite for family holidays, getaways with friends and even romantic retreats, offering a home away from home with all the luxuries you could ever want.

There are so many different aspects of the caravanning experience that make us fall in love with this type of holiday and here are just a few of our personal favourites:

Listening to the sounds of nature

It has been proven time and time again that being out in nature can help to improve your quality of sleep. This is partially as your body attunes to the clock of nature, rising with the sun and sleeping with the moon, and partially because of the soothing sounds. Whether you’re listening to the whistle of the wind, songs of the birds, the russle of the leaves or the pitter-patter of rain, all of these sounds can prove to be incredibly relaxing and help you to get the best from your break.

Quality Time

Holidays are the perfect place to spend quality time with your loved ones, and having your own, private space to retreat to at the end of the day (or to enjoy all-day long) means that you can truly enjoy each other’s company. The kids will love the experience, having opportunities to play with other kids but also being able to settle in of an evening. Static caravans often form a sort of second home, where families can make memories to last a lifetime in their humble abodes.

The facilities available at many caravan sites means that there is plenty on offer in terms of entertainment. Our last (but certainly not least) favourite thing about caravan holidays is that you don’t have to leave your four-legged friend at home! Our holiday parks welcome dogs and have plenty of places for them to enjoy by your side. This means that the whole family can come along for a trip to remember.
